Does anyone know where I can get good data on
the protective qualities of different types of
motorcycle gear. I currently have a Tour Master
Cordura jacket and pants with dense foam pads
in the knees, elbows, shoulders, hips and back.
I've read about full body jump suits, and a fellow
at work has a leather jacket with Kevlar pads.
He also rides agressively and has a Ducati.
I'm mostly concerned with whether the Tour Master
equipment will protect me adequately if I fall, and
whether there is a big difference in the protective
qualities of the different types and brands of
protective suits.
